This morning I created a “squeeze page” for a new product I am currently re-working.  This is what it looks like:

I was very pleased with the result and it only took about one hour to create and upload to my website.

I have a lot of experience in creating pages like these but when I stopped for a moment to consider what is actually invloved in putting a page like this together and uploading it to the internet – there’s a lot to it.

You need to know:

1. How to create a webpage.
2. How to create the graphics.
3. How to insert the opt-in form.
4. How to upload it to your webhost.

Four simple steps if you know what you are doing but what if you’re a “Newbie”?  These are big hurdles to get over.

Then there’s what goes on beyond that squeeze page.  If you are ultimatley selling a product then you need to be able to insert payment buttons and then be able to automate the delivery process of the product (if it’s adigital item).

Then there’s traffic – again another MASSIVE topic.
